  1. Hi Yufei,

I think that it is so cool that you play the drums! How long have you been playing for? I used to play the guitar but haven’t picked it up in a while. I love that you are majoring in something that is also a hobby and passion of yours. I think that loving the work that you do and study is really important and will make your career really enjoyable.

I also hope that this course will teach us how to keep employee relations in the future as I believe it is very important for us to manage. Improving your emotional intelligence is something that can be challenging. It is definitely something I need to work on as well. I did a little research and came across this article which outlines five ways to improve it. I thought it could be a really great starting point. If you’re interested here is the link.

  2. Hi Heather,

I enjoyed reading your post, that’s great you’re continuing to chase your dreams! China is a long way from here, do you find you miss home? I as well would like to develop a greater understanding of essentials to maintain good employment relations although would like to learn about the law aspect more in depth. Hopefully we can both fulfill our goals.

    Thanks for sharing!
